Join artists at the Onancock Wharf for a plein air painting event and the welcoming of the Lady Maryland into the marina. Limited lunch reservations at Mallards at 1:00pm are available. Contact Susan Stark sstark@sonic.net to reserve your seat. The Lady Maryland and Onancock Kayak Flotilla is scheduled to arrive at Onancock Wharf at 3:00pm.
This event is hosted by the Historic Onancock School and will feature several members! Please consider attending and supporting the home of the ESAL Studio and Gallery space.
Monthly meet-ups (on the 4th Tuesday) for all levels interested in the woven arts.
Paint or sketch at your own pace, and spend time creating alongside fellow ESAL members outdoors.

It's Art Challenge time! Please bring an existing artwork you are willing to reimagine. It can be a complete or unfinished piece, but you must be open to changing it. We will be working in the library meeting room. Hope to see you there!
ESAL Stitches Together
Knit, cross-stitch, crochet, sew - whatever… bring a project to work on. Tuesday, April 28, 1:00-3:00pm at the Eastern Shore Public Library in Parksley. Meet in the open area by the kids’ books with the comfy chairs. All skill levels are welcome.
Capture the beauty of one of the Eastern Shore’s most complete colonial homes and its gardens.
The Eastern Shore Art League is hosting a free children's art event on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Bringing together art and nature, each child will create and take home a unique painted pot with planted seeds. Led by local artist Jessica Kendrick. Class will meet at St. George's Church in Pungoteague.
Two $2000.00 scholarships will be awarded annually, in 2-D visual art, and 3-D visual art to applicants who meet the criteria.
Applications must be postmarked before or no later than April 10, 2026

Unique opportunity to paint, sketch, and photograph the exhibition space and foundry of William H. Turner and David H. Turner. This free gathering is open to members and their invited guests—no registration required.
To help preserve the space, please no acrylic or oil paints. Drawing, photography, and watercolor (with a drop cloth) are warmly encouraged.
